NATE contest of students' compositions 2008

NATE announces the second all-Russia contest of compositions in English "It's a small world"
among high school and university students.

The contest will be held in three stages:
  • 1st stage - October, 15, 2007 - November, 30, 2007 (schools and universities level)
  • 2nd stage - December, 1, 2007 - December, 30, 2007 (city level)
  • 3rd stage - January, 10, 2008 - February, 20, 2008 (all-Russia level)
The best compositions will be published and awarded.

The deadline for getting compositions for the all-Russia level of contest is January, 10, 2008.

The requirements for participation in the all-Russia contest are the following:
  • compositions are accepted only from the cities where NATE chapters exist
  • no more than 5 compositions are accepted from a city in each of the two nominations (high school students and university students)
  • papers are accepted only in electronic version via e-mail
  • the volume of each paper shouldn't exceed 2 pages (double spaced, font 14)
  • the papers for the all-Russia contest should have recommendations of the city jury, signed by the head of the jury and the President of the local ELT Association.
Different genres of compositions are welcomed.

ELT associations interested in taking part in the contest are supposed to confirm their participation
by November, 1, 2007 by e-mail - sternina@vmail.ru ; shishknat@mail.ru
